DDTV – DONEGAL’S BEO GETS NATIONWIDE SUPPORT FROM IMRO

first_imgDonegal’s homegrown music project BEO is growing from strength to strength. The project, which sees students organise and promote their own rocks gigs, has been given a major thumbs up form the Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO). BEO met with IMRO CEO Keith Johnson at his offices in Dublin and the music industry boss says that the project now needs a nationa media presence.“By the end of the meeting we had devised a plan to promote Comórtas BEO, led by Paddy Mc Kenna across the RTE network from talk-shows to breakfast shows and including an ambitious plan to feature on The Late Late,” revealed a spokesman for BEO.IMRO are also going to fund this Media drive.“This is very good news in all ways as it further cements the credibility of BEO publicly and allows us now to chase other commercial sponsors. If you feel you know of any company in a position to support please send them our way,” added the BEO spokesman. On asking Keith what was it that brought BEO to IMRO’s attention he credited Aodh Mac Giolla Chearra and Shannon Bheir from Colaiste Ailigh for a very energetic and passionate presentation at HWCH in October 2013.“This now brings our project to a new level a level where we will all need to work together to ensure we steer BEO in the right direction.” DDTV – DONEGAL’S BEO GETS NATIONWIDE SUPPORT FROM IMRO was last modified: June 17th, 2014 by StephenShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:BeodonegalIMROlast_img read more
